As debates goes this Vice Presidential debate was uneventful. With some miss opportunities by the Governor pointing out what seems to be that Obama's economic polices would be more in line with the former Soviet Union, than a free Market system which we suppose to have in the United States.. Going on the attack has not occurred as far as this blogger is concerned.
There is many many times McCain should be attacking Obama as a big Government Tax and Spend, class warfare liberal politician. The idea that we can tax the rich and not have it Boomerang on us by the loss of jobs. The same ole tired liberal Marta that we can have one class tax feeding the other in a symbiotic relationship. That one class will start to feel it is not being treated fairly and rebel.
This is pure and simple law of economics that you cannot continue to tax one segment of society without it grossly effecting the other with the loss of jobs and loss of income. Biden biggest gaff recently was his insistence that the rich were not being patriotic for not paying higher taxes. How insulting, when the 10 percent of the rich already are tax 60 percent to pay for big government now. And then to say that the 95 percent of us would not pay taxes if making less than 200 thousand? This is one dangerous fellow to the middle class because he cannot in any imagination make it work. That 95 percent is going to be tax, like it or not.
It is interesting that in the debate Senator Biden paraphrase McCain in saying that he believed that the “the fundamentals of our economy are strong”. Biden hammer on the subject and yet Gov. Palin should have said that she agree with McCain that yes, the fundamentals of our economy are strong!
How would Obama change our current Market system, if they feel that something is wrong with it? Would they change it by regulating it out of existence? Say what you will. the free market system does not work well by regulation and to change it to a Socialist Marxist system as seems Obama wants to do is a over reaction. That Obama represents the dangers of socialism. How naive Obama is, not just in Foreign policy, but how dangerous he would be in the overall economy of the United States.
This miss opportunity may and should corrected it in the next debate, But I do not believe it will. Obama is one of the most dangerous politicians in the Democrat Party today! Nothing can be so simple than to say that the leading presidential Candidate is a socialist! That is a miss opportunity!
