Is A Tall Man a Better Man?

Just when you though that their was such a thing as true love! In recent attempts to de-mystify what the female thinks about the men they choose to date. I have been trying to figure out my wife for the past 11 years and suddenly two authors has it all figure out! Leave it to researchers to come up with the many reasons women are attracted to men.

In this study it seems that women most of the time prefer taller men and that height does matter to most women. Women want to look up to their man both literally and figuratively. It is, it seems that it is a important ingredient and it also seems that for the most part women say they are not drawn to a level playing field, but in reality the level playing field is for them to be ten feet taller than the man.

My wife is five foot four inches and I am six foot two inches. I always wondered what she saw in me since she always had a funny look on her face. She herself admits that she likes the fact I was tall and that she felt secure.

Now of course my wife says that if you take the time to get beyond the superficial stuff and see someone for who they are, then height doesn't matter at all. Yea right!

However, Men are a bit more honest in that they are always looking first for the superficial stuff in women. And I suppose the three letter word comes to every man's mind some time or another! Recently I watch the program Jon and Kate plus 8.


With this couple height isn’t a factor. Kate seems to be an inch or two taller than Jon and it shows. It seems that Kate was looking for a short man and Jon was it. Jon was the one that she can humiliate and he is the Gomer Pyle type, willing to take abuse.

In one episode the family visits a Toys-R-Us and the couple separates as a suggestion of Kate. Suddenly Kate demands his presents and you can her majesty yelling throughtout the whole store for Jon to come here. Like any good dog he comes wadding his tail like an obedient servant.

Jon of course is most likely kicking himself everyday wondering exactly what did I see in this woman? Jon is well train now! She has him lapping up every word she utters! Jon now just sits their smiling with that glassy eye look and wondering if he’s paying enough for the hit man to take her out! To be honest Kate is a cross between Cruella Deville and Hillary Clinton, and hair that matches the part.

Some men may think that they have miss out when you see a short guy like Jon in a restaurant with Kate who is much a taller. You know that guys in the place are thinking, "What does he do?" Or exactly how does he attract to such a women? It’s not that he is extremely handsome, but he’s is much easier target to control.

Then there is of course the woman who marries older more mature men. Well guys with one foot in the grave and the other in the senor citizen’s home. Taller isn’t the problem, Insurance is!

The facts are women are in control. One bad word from a man limits himself, to the sofa. Tall or not the ultimate control is always in the woman. Learning that when single will save the man from allot of heartache. A fundamental and natural order of the man, is to say: "yes Dear, no excuses Dear!"

DRILL HERE AND DRILL NOW!

One evening, I was watching the news when a environmentalist came on the program, when asked it she was willing to drill in Alaska at ANWR she said NO, when asked if she would be willing to drill in the North Dakota and Montana region she said NO, when asked if she was willing to drill in off shore in California and in Caribbean, she said NO, when asked if she was willing to build nuclear plants, she said NO.

I sat their staring at the television wondering where this woman was expecting us to run our cars and heat our homes and get our food?’ There is nothing that we consume in this country that doesn't have element of the oil industry in them, from plastics used in our hospitals to our classrooms. The environmentalist have no answers to the very problem they have produce. Their new slogans seems to be now, that they created this mess is: "That we can't drill our way out of this." My answer to them is "Yes we can!!

We can open up vast areas of Montana and North Dakota Colorado Utah, we can start processing oil from shale and oil from Coal, we can start drilling of the coast off Florida and California, as well as AWNR in Alaska. We can harness the wind and the Sun and we can do any number of thousand things as will as protecting our environment.

But when you asked a Democrat for answers to this situation you get nothing but blank stares and a unwillingness to stake a position other than their current slogan: We can't drill...... Your know! The Democrats are in the same position of advocating the sweater wearing policies that made Jimmy Carter unpopular.

With $5 gas prices nearing we can be assured that the economy is going to take a dive. States like Florida and California will take a huge hit since tourism is their major industry. One environmentalist claim that no one wants to see oil rigs dotting the shoreline. Yet does these gentlemen ever consider what brings tourist to Florida? Can he spell OIL!

Voters in swing states like Florida opposed offshore drilling; the high gas prices are prompting them to reconsider, since their very future may depend on drilling offshore of their lovely state, They should if they are concerned about their jobs! John McCain's argument that even hurricane Katrina did not cause any oil spills from the offshore rigs in the Gulf of Mexico certainly will go far to allay the fears of the average voter.

Higher energy and food costs has a direct link to these environmental groups, where their shortsighted policies are causing the conditions we are now suffering from. These polices have now made us more depended on foreign sources and finance Terrorism in our country as well.

We are not drilling in the lower 48 and we cannot continue this type of break neck speed to disaster. Again the Democrats are headed in the wrong direction. They advocate for the Poor in this country and yet their polices cripple the poor and make them dependent on the government. They the environmental groups are equally either unaware or narrow minded to the realities of the real world. They cannot envision that this brave new world they have created is a false dream full of pit falls and contradictions. Their alternatives are not realistic and will not work in the real world and create false illusions to their followers.

It is with this that the American People must stand up and tell them, In a giant March to Washington that we must begin to drill and must stop all this foolishness. That they are effecting our lives and economy with this adolescence behavior. It is time to drill and .....

Protecting Our Country from the Courts!

We are seeing in history today a profound change in the way we interact with the people of world. We are giving rights to people who are not citizens of this country. From Illegal immigration to allowing the civilian courts to rule on cases they have no jurisdiction in the first place. With the recent US Supreme Court decision that gives rights to 600 or so, Detainees in Guantanamo Bay, we are now exploring unsure territory that has not been explore by any other country

Chief Justice John Roberts writes the rule of law and the American people have lost out-and with this ruling, we “lose a bit more control over the conduct of this Nation's foreign policy to unelected, politically unaccountable judges.”

Judges are now venturing into foreign Policy, an area they have not been in at all and is the privy of the President.


It also leaves the possibility of future detainees left to the mercies of our troops. Our soldiers are the most capable and the most reliable and effective tool we have to combat terrorism. The surge despite what some liberals say is working! But we have done so with smart intelligence. If this decision stands we are now leaving capture Terrorist to the soldiers. "Why should we capture terrorist to just let the courts release them to come back and kill us?" Other alternatives may become necessary to protect themselves and our country.

Can you imagine a solider reading the Miranda rights to a terrorist in the heat of battle?

It is regrettable that we have to decide midst if detainees deserved equal treatment under our constitution, when we see what they have do to people like Daniel Pearl and many others. But this has far reaching prospects than just a bunch of Detainees in Cuba.

If the courts can reach this far we can certainly see them reach further including voting rights, for people who are not citizens of this country or for that matter preventing further deportations of illegal aliens. Much to my dismay, it could also prove dangerous to the sovereignty of this country. It leads us to various other unrelated laws that could be examining in the same matter.

Justice Antonin Scala warns that the ruling “will almost certainly cause more Americans to be killed” and concludes, “The Nation will live to regret what the Court has done today. I believe he is right, But now the congress of the United States is left with the ultimate decision.

A number of laws need to be enacted, and amending the Geneva conventions to face the realities of this modern terrorist plague world. We may also need to decide if any illegal Alien or for that matter terrorist can appeal to our courts. Some may decry placing the two in the same category.

John McCain would be smart to bring this to the attention of the American people; he needs them to realize that this goes beyond being fair to Terrorist. It has everything to do with national sovereignty and the Rule of Law.

The Media Rock Star, Barack Obama!

As many have predicted a few weeks ago Obama would win the Democrat Party contest last night. It was a eventually, and Hillary I suspect knew it. Now the election is on. Obama has none, zero experience running things, including a 7-Eleven store, let alone a Nation! He has raised the expectations of some of our young people and minorities with very little to show for it and very little knowledge to confront it! His motto: "Change” is most likely the most confusing. Change to what? The College youth are so willing to except this man as the Savior and some blacks are not looking for Integrity, but color.

He is a black Melvin Chamberlain, Snake old salesman a committed socialist, all in the same package, He is polish and able to be disarming, much like Bill Clinton. He is a rock star and yet there is something about him that goes against the grain. But in all the next President will have to handle one of the most dangerous world in history. The people he will have to content with really are not interested in talking. They would kill you without even a thought. Talking is for the weak.
He has said that he would disarm America and literally throw us to the wolves. In a time of war which we are in and will remain in for many years to come this could be far more than most Americans could take?

He has said that he would:

"We should only sit down with Hamas if they renounce terrorism, recognize Israel’s right to exist, and abide by past agreements."

Even Hillary Clinton knew better. If Al Queda tries to influence the election, like they did in Spain, we will certainly see the out come of it with the deaths of American citizens in American towns, But we also learn that this Man doesn't want us to question his Resume, review his church and question his wife. Everything and anything could be consider to many to be racist, and Bill Clinton learned that the hard way,

Should Obama beat John McCain to the White House in November, it will be liberalism’s last fling. Liberalism is the most divisive ideology in our time and could end up destroying itself. With the first Black President could be the last one to be elected, if he doesn’t watch his step.

As for John McCain, he has never been a good salesman and his record is full of holes. He is no Conservative, by any stretch of the imagination and he is relying on the moderates in this country.

McCain, spend part of this week to woo women and other Clinton backers whose disappointment over her defeat to switch teams, and again has left the most important part of his own party to flap in the wind. Why would McCain do so, Less he agrees with the liberals?

Without the conservatives, John McCain loses. I see no tide of conservatives running to embrace him. He may become the accidental president, if Obama missteps and falls flat on his face. Would we be better off with Obama, then a questionable Imitation conservative?

My guess however is that Obama will win. With Obama we are not electing a man with a long; list of accomplishments. We are electing a Rock Star to be President!
