The FLDS Church Propaganda

This past few weeks we have seen a activity in the religious world for the most party  not equal in the United States.  We witness the Pope arrival  in the United States  which  maybe bought to those who Catholics a understand of what the Vatican expected for them.  Everyone knew when the Pope left where he stood on many issues  including the sex abuse issues in the U.S.

While all of this was going on, we had a minor religious sect coming from the mainstream Church of Jesus Christ  of Latter-Day Saints.  This organization left the LDS church some one hundred years base on the fact they would not except the concept of a single loving relationship to one women.  Holy Cow  that would really blow ones mind!

Hard to believe huh!  however  I have actually notice that some LDS or Mainstream Mormons as well as ex-Mormons seem to be supporting the FLDS in the  discussion group:  "Mormon apologetic and discussion board"  you can find in the pages people lapping up every talking point the FLDS church or it's members have to say.  This Board has gone from becoming a discussion of Mormonism  and it's beliefs to a mouth piece for the FLDS.

A example of this is: 

"we can accept that  "The Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints" are technically "Latter-day Saints" (which clearly they are). then we ought to determine if that is equivanlent to being Mormon."

The Mainstream Mormon church has  told the world that the FLDS church is not Mormon.  You can understand why the practice of marrying of 13, 14 and 15 years old is child abuse, pure and simple.  As a Mormon and Latter-Day Saint, I would agree with this.  It is more than time for the New First Presidency to announce to the world as the Pope did again and again that  the church is not in the business of abusing children!
